The aim of the project is to study the applied aspects of the functional and methodological approaches to customs formalities in the context of the New European Customs Reform. As a result of the scientific research, potential benefits, risks and problems of the implementation of the reform and its impact both on the customs system and on the activities of economic operators will be identified.
We are convinced that such research will provide an interesting insight into some of the challenges of digitising customs control activities and justify its importance for the business community and customs administrations in the European Union.
