Thank you for the comprehensive answer and I completely understand your sarcasm. Unfortunately, we are still in the EU and considering the practice in Bulgaria, I would say that a short period of temporary storage would be a problem not only for the EO, but also for the customs authority… they cannot organise themselves to process these consignments, especially if, for example, veterinary or phytosanitary control is required, it becomes “mission impossible”.

I am familiar with CLECAT’s position and we also support the efforts of Nicolette and her team in this direction, but it seems that the Commission really does not want to deal with the problem and does not consider how realistic their proposal is. We’ll keep an eye on what happens, let’s hope logic prevails :)
