It seems to me that there is a failure in the Customs Authorities’ system. Since your declarations have been cleared, there is no problem with your software (anyway, there is no single software in any country, certainly not in the EU). However the H7 processing may be separate from general declaration processing in the Customs systems, and perhaps it is necessary for Customs to make a link between your EORI and the general system that is visible to officers at the border. I think you must contact Customs directly and ask them to investigate. They can do this easily using the reference number on your clearance.
Good Luck!
Thank you for your input, Mark! The thing is that all HS codes are 6 digit ones for e-comm in the EU and the declaration was cleared electronically and the proof is the status ZC299H7. However when we physically arrive at the customs point, the customs officials cannot see our declaration in their system. We are not a customs broker, maybe customs brokers in Poland have a different customs program to submit declarations? Is it possible to advise the program which customs brokers use in the EU?
I note from the pdf declaration that Box 33 only contains the HS Code. Should this contain the full 8-digit or 10-digit import commodity code? This would be either 63022210 or 63022290? Indeed, this may equally be wrong, as HS Code 630222 covers bedlinen, NOT cotton napkins. This needs to be reviewed extensively, as the declarations may themselves be wrong.
Hello All, our company got registered in the Polish government online system PUESC created for businesses to be able to get authorised for customs clearance and financial solutions provided by the government. At the same time we were using a special customs clearance software company Huzar which is an official software provider approved by the Polish customs. We had 3 tests of trying to clear e-comm goods by submitting H7 declarations and according to the online system all our declarations had been accepted and cleared but when our transportation company came to the customs point, the customs officials informed us that they could not identify our declarations in their system. We showed to them that all the declarations had been cleared but they kept on saying that there were not in their system and they could not proceed further. Is there any piece of advice why we are facing such issues when all other companies are doing fine?
