I promise I did visit your Custran website to double-check you were not now dealing with France, given how helpful you have been on other matters.

I have reached out to Akanea as one of only two providers I can find, but given I am still awaiting a response, anything you can do to encourage any response would be much appreciated. The project needs to launch before the end of the year, so time is ticking.

I’m sure the CKI community has a view on this, but given the maturity of the EU as a Customs union, I am perhaps rather naively surprised the EU has not introduced an EU-wide Customs authority system, given the desire to maximise revenues and controls. This would make it so much easier for importers and exporters, as well as Customs software providers, reducing their costs which one would hope would be passed on to their users. I know, too much wishful thinking – again!

Thank you for coming back on this so quickly with a suggestion. I have previously spoken to AEB in the UK and Germany about other projects, but I was not aware they connected to French Customs. I will follow up on your suggestions.
